Assoc.Prof.Mehmet Senbayram
Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Senbayram completed his undergraduate education in Ege University, İzmir, and continued his master's and doctoral studies at Kiel CAU University (Germany). After completing his PhD at the University of Kiel, he continued his studies in the field of sustainable agriculture for three years at Hanninghof Soil and Environment Research Station (YARA Int. ASA, Germany). He continued his career at the Institute of Applied Plant Nutrition – University of Göttingen as a Junior Prof. with the focus on climate change, plant physiology and soil biochemistry. Since 2015, he hold a Assoc. Prof. position at Harran University, Plant Nutrition and Soil Department. By integrating automation and information systems techniques into agricultural research, he developed various remote sensing techniques for agricultural optimization processes; for example:
i) robotized gas exchange analyzes in plants and soil (N2, N2O, NO, CO2, CH4, NH3),
ii) autonomus field robot for soil plant analysis,
iii) remote sensing techniques (chlorophyll fluorescence, NDVI, thermal and RGB imaging).
